Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification and experience in tutoring math from Grade 9 to 12. You’ll work scheduled shifts on weekday evenings, ideally through the summer. A strong grasp of senior high school math curriculum, including calculus and trigonometry, is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach small groups to maximize individual attention
• Follow structured lesson plans and methodologies
• Complete daily communication updates for student progress
• Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment
• Collaborate with fellow tutors for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Education in a relevant field; certification is a plus
• Prior experience in high school tutoring is necessary
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to manage multiple students effectively
• Eligibility for clear police record check
