Part-Time Elementary Teacher Learning

Help shape young minds as a part-time Elementary Teacher at Oxford Learning Markham East. Engage with students in a friendly environment using our proven teaching methods and curriculum.

We are looking for dedicated teacher-tutors for our learning center. If you have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field and are passionate about education, this position is ideal. You'll work evenings and Saturdays, helping students in grades K-8 with English and Math, while providing vital updates on their progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students effectively at once

• Implement Oxford Learning philosophies and methodologies

• Complete post-lesson documentation regularly

• Provide daily communication on student progress

• Maintain a professional and supportive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in a relevant field

• Experience teaching or tutoring grades K-8

• Solid understanding of the K-8 curriculum

• Strong English communication skills

• Must pass vulnerable sector screening
