Help elementary students reach their full potential at Oxford Learning in Whitby, Ontario, as a part-time Teacher/Tutor. This role provides an opportunity to engage young learners in language and math.

Oxford Learning is on the lookout for passionate part-time tutors dedicated to supporting elementary students in their educational journey. You will utilize pre-planned lessons and receive training in innovative teaching methods designed to inspire and empower students. The position involves both in-person and online sessions, emphasizing student confidence and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to three students at different learning levels

• Implement both online and face-to-face tutoring

• Follow the structured Oxford Learning educational guidelines

• Write post-lesson notes and updates for student communication

• Maintain a professional demeanor while teaching

Requirements:

• Completion of a bachelor’s degree or related field

• Teaching certificate preferred but not required

• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is essential

• Strong English communication skills

• Must pass vulnerable-sector screening
