Become a vital part of Oxford Learning Edmonton Tamarack as a Math/Science Tutor. This role focuses on equipping students with essential skills in both subjects during engaging tutoring sessions.

Perfect for someone with experience in teaching or tutoring Grades 9-12 content, this part-time position requires commitment during evenings and weekends. You will be instrumental in helping learners build their confidence and mastery in math and science while also enhancing your own teaching abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tutor three students at various academic levels in person

• Employ Oxford Learning’s instructional methods

• Document student progress through post-lesson notes

• Provide daily updates on student development

• Keep a positive and professional learning environment

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or certification in education

• Strong knowledge of math and science curricula for high school

• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching preferred

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Ability to manage and balance multiple students
