Part-Time French Tutor Learning

Join Oxford Learning Thornhill as a part-time French teacher and ignite students’ passion for the French language! Help students learn effectively in a small group setting while enhancing your own teaching experience.

This role requires a reliable, friendly, and enthusiastic teacher to work with students up to Grade 12. You will teach in-person using provided curriculum, engage students in meaningful learning, and guide them in both spoken and written French. Experience and a commitment to the teaching schedule are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students at different French levels

• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and lesson plans

• Maintain daily communication updates for each student

• Fill in post-lesson notes for student tracking

• Foster a friendly and professional teaching environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification required

• Experience teaching/tutoring French at Grade 4-12 level

• Strong communication skills in French and English

• Ability to multitask with diverse student needs

• Must be available evenings, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
