Senior Math Tutor Learning

Join Oxford Learning Ocean Park as a Senior Math Teacher-Tutor, inspiring students in Grades 11-12 with your enthusiasm for mathematics. Focus on advanced functions and calculus in a rewarding part-time role.

We are looking for a dynamic instructor to engage students every day after school and on select Saturdays. This position is adaptable, with opportunities to teach both online and in-person lessons. Candidates should have a solid foundation in the current Grades 9-12 math curriculum to guide students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach diverse subjects like calculus, trigonometry, and algebra

• Conduct lessons with up to three students at one time

• Follow distinct learning methodologies provided by Oxford Learning

• Document post-lesson notes to track student progress

• Keep open lines of communication with students and parents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification required

• Previous experience teaching high school math subjects

• Excellent verbal and written English skills

• Strong understanding of senior-level math concepts

• Ability to manage multiple student interactions efficiently
