Part-Time French Teacher Learning

Share your passion for French education as a part-time teacher at Oxford Learning North York Willowdale. Educate and inspire students in a supportive group setting, helping them improve their French skills!

As a part-time French teacher/tutor, you will work with small groups of three students to enhance their academic abilities in French. You’ll guide learners through provided materials, engaging them in interactive discussions while utilizing your strong background in both spoken and written French and English. Your commitment to nurturing students' self-confidence until the end of the  school year is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to 3 students simultaneously at various levels

• Provide both online and in-person instruction

• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies during lessons

• Complete post-lesson notes and student updates

• Maintain a positive and professional classroom environment

Requirements:

• Strong background in spoken and written French and English

• Minimum 2 evenings/week available for classes

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification preferred

• Relevant teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 curriculum

• Pass mandatory vulnerable sector screening
