Elementary Tutor Position Learning

Join Oxford Learning Mississauga Meadowvale as a part-time Elementary Teacher/Tutor. Engage three students at different learning levels while following proven educational methodologies.

This role requires someone dedicated to teaching students from Kindergarten to Grade 8, with sessions held on weekdays and Saturdays. You will focus on enhancing student learning through effective lesson planning and communication updates. The commitment extends through the school year, with an opportunity for summer work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to three students of various grades

• Apply Oxford Learning's philosophies in your teaching

• Fill out detailed post-lesson notes for each session

• Provide daily updates on student performance

• Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Teaching certification preferred

• Familiarity with K-8 curriculum standards

• Experience tutoring or teaching at K-8 levels

• Excellent verbal and written English skills
