Part-Time Teacher​/Tutor Learning

Ignite a passion for learning as a Part-Time Teacher/Tutor at Oxford Learning Markham East! Help students excel in English and Math without the need for lesson planning.

This role invites dedicated individuals to join Oxford Learning as Teacher-Tutors, working primarily in the evenings and Saturdays. Ideal for those with teaching experience or strong tutoring skills, you will follow pre-planned lessons and guide students at varying levels. Commitment for the school year is preferred, and a summer continuation is welcomed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to 3 students simultaneously at different levels

• Implement Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies

• Fill in post-lesson notes for student progress

• Communicate regularly with students and their families

• Maintain a friendly and professional presence at all times

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification required

• Experience with Kindergarten to Grade 8 education

• Strong English communication skills for effective teaching

• Ability to multitask effectively with multiple students

• Must reside near Markham for easy commuting
