Math Teacher Position Learning

Shape young minds as a part-time Math Teacher at Oxford Learning Markham East. Work in-person during evenings and Saturdays to provide personalized support to students in Grades 3-10.

This engaging role targets students needing extra help in math. You will employ Oxford Learning’s proven methodologies while communicating effectively with students and their families. The ideal candidate will commit through June, with summer tutoring opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to three math students per session

• Employ Oxford Learning methodologies for effective lesson delivery

• Document post-lesson notes and provide daily updates

• Uphold a friendly and professional demeanor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar credentials

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Proficient understanding of the math curriculum

• Ability to manage multiple students simultaneously

• Mandatory vulnerable sector screening
