Part-Time Math Teacher Learning

Join the team at Oxford Learning Richmond as a part-time Math Teacher. Engage with students in person, guiding them through the complexities of math with structured, pre-planned lessons.

We are looking for motivated individuals who possess a strong understanding of Grades 9-12 math, including algebra, calculus, and trigonometry. This role requires reliable commitment during after-school and evening hours, with a preference for candidates who can extend to the summer. All materials are provided, and applicants must be comfortable commuting to our Richmond center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students simultaneously across various math levels

• Apply Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies

• Communicate student progress through daily updates

• Maintain professionalism and friendliness

• Complete post-lesson notes for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification preferred

• Experience tutoring or teaching math at a senior level

• Strong math and communication skills

• Ability to multitask effectively

• Commitment to in-person tutoring
