French Teacher Learning

Join Oxford Learning in Markham as a part-time French Teacher/Tutor, passionate about teaching French to high school students. Inspire students in Grades 9–12 to excel using our effective curriculum.

This role involves conducting interactive French lessons without lesson planning, making it easier for you to engage with students. Your ability to handle discussions and support three students at once will make a significant impact on their learning experience. It's a unique opportunity to work in a fun and collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach French lessons to up to three students per session

• Use provided curriculum for structured lessons

• Guide students and foster discussion for clarity

• Maintain a friendly and professional teaching demeanor

• Document daily student interactions and noted progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or appropriate teaching certification

• Proven experience in teaching/interacting with Grades 9–12 students

• Excellent French and English communication skills

• Ability to multitask with students effectively

• Must work at the Markham location
