Part-Time Tutor Learning

Join Oxford Learning Caledonia as a Part-Time English Instructional Coach. This unique role centers on hands-on tutoring, making a difference in students' academic journeys in English.

In this position, you will work closely with students in person, employing pre-prepared lesson plans to enhance their understanding of language. Your schedule will include evenings and some Saturdays, focusing on fostering a supportive atmosphere for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. This role is perfect for those passionate about education and mentoring young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tutor up to three students at different learning levels

• Adhere to Oxford Learning's teaching strategies

• Record notes post-lessons to track progress

• Supply daily updates on student performance

• Cultivate a friendly and professional demeanor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification in education

• Teaching or tutoring experience with K-12 students

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Ability to handle multiple students smoothly

• Commitment to local, in-person teaching
