Water Hygiene Engineer

Our client is a well-established water treatment company that provides a variety of professional water treatment/water hygiene services to clients throughout the UK. Due to recent growth, they are recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer in the Oxford area. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and extensive experience delivering water hygiene duties inline with ACOP L8. Basic plumbing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Applicants from Basingstoke, Whitney, Bicester, and surrounding areas will be given special consideration.

• Hands‑on experience working as a water hygiene engineer within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
• Good working knowledge of current water industry guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT literate.

• Carry out cleaning, disinfection, and chlorination on hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
• Undertake temperature monitoring, routine sampling and water system analysis.
• Install and maintain dosing systems.
• Maintain and service TMVs.
• Clean and disinfect CWSTs.
• Clean shower heads.
• Maintain and build a good working relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
