Forklift Operator NS

Step into a vital role as a Forklift Operator in Oxford, NS, with a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity. Safely operate forklifts and support food production by managing material transport.

This position involves working night and day shifts on a rotational basis. You'll be responsible for operating powered industrial forklifts, managing inventory with RF scanners, and ensuring product quality in adherence to GMP standards. Attention to detail is essential, and you will contribute to safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport raw materials and finished products

• Use RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking

• Maintain proper rotation of stock for product freshness

• Keep work areas clean and organized

• Communicate with supervisors on product defects

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Forklift operator certification required

• Familiarity with RF scanning and WMS systems

• Strong attention to detail with minimal supervision

• Comfortable in varying temperature areas and lifting up to 50 lbs
