Position: Hands-On Laboratory Technician at LAYRR
Location: Town of Oxford

Become a vital part of LAYRR's Oxford lab as a Laboratory Technician focused on materials science. This hands-on, on-site role emphasizes coating experiments and maintaining lab safety.

In this crucial position, you'll report directly to the CTO. You'll execute coating experiments, prepare samples, and conduct straightforward analyses.

Your role involves supporting the quality control of our STORM system while ensuring meticulous records of experiments and results are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run coating experiments on the R&D system

• Prepare samples for analysis and characterization

• Support STORM system quality control

• Log experiments accurately and refine SOPs

• Maintain lab readiness and safety protocols

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of hands-on lab experience in materials science

• Strong record-keeping and data management skills

• Ability to learn and operate new equipment independently

• Commitment to safety and good lab practices

• Effective communication of progress and results
