JOB TITLE/

LOCATION:

Position Summary/Overview: Senior Corporate Accountant at a publicly traded manufacturing company listed on the NYSE. This role would involve SEC reporting, financial accounting and analysis, various treasury functions, exposure to mergers & acquisitions and technical accounting expertise.

• Prepare technical accounting position papers for business transactions
• Due diligence and purchase price accounting for mergers and acquisitions
• Lead adoption and implementation of new accounting standards
• Mentor and supervise less experienced accountants
• Prepare and process monthly journal entries
• Assist with monthly close processes
• Prepare financial and statistical reports as required
• Compile and provide support for quarterly and annual reviews and audits
• Assist with preparations and review SEC reporting documents and/or support
• Attendance at work is an essential function of the job

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with major in accounting required
• Either a Master’s degree or CPA license required
• 3-5 years’ experience in accounting or other role involving financial analysis (public accounting experience preferred)
• Knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles and understanding of SEC reporting requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant or a Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Wage Range: $77,000.00 - $
