About the Candidate / Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to join our team at Tradewind Aviation, a leading private aviation provider operating scheduled and private charter services. The Sales Operations Specialist will play a critical role in optimizing Tradewind Aviation’s sales processes, systems, and performance. This role will support the Director of Sales Operations by analyzing sales metrics, managing enhancements for CRM systems, streamlining processes, and delivering insights that help guide strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a passion for aviation and premium service.

Essential Duties

  • Sales Performance Analysis:
    Produce sales KPIs, pipeline health, lead conversion rates, client segmentation, and region performance. Provide actionable insights and regular reporting to sales leadership.
  • Process Optimization:
    Document current sales processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability across the sales cycle.
  • Revenue Management & Distribution:
    Support the scheduled service business with regular pricing and revenue management reviews, alignment on distribution, and develop an understanding of the interline process while interfacing with vendors as needed.
  • Network Planning Support:
    Assist in the development and optimization of network strategies by providing insights into operational efficiencies, customer demand patterns, and route performance.
  • Fleet Utilization & Optimization:
    Collaborate with operations and sales teams to maximize fleet utilization by identifying opportunities to optimize schedules, reduce downtime, and improve service offerings.
  • Market & Competitor Research:
    Conduct research to benchmark pricing, track competitor offerings, and support strategic positioning of Tradewind’s services.
  • Sales Tools & Enablement:
    Support the implementation and training for sales tools. Ensure the team is equipped with the resources and data needed for success.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
    Work in partnership with marketing, operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies, route optimization, and overall business objectives.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis:
    Provide ad-hoc analysis for special projects, such as the introduction of new routes, fleet expansion, and strategic business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Data Analytics, Aviation Management, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analysis, or Revenue Operations preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Passion for aviation, private air travel, or luxury hospitality a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer.
  • Strength to lift 15 lbs, and the ability to work in confined spaces.
