Drill Rig Operator - Test Borings at Soil Testing, Inc., Oxford, CT.
Responsibilities- The ideal candidate MUST be experienced in all phases of test borings with at least 5 years of drill rig operation.
- Experience in: hollow stem auger, rock coring, mud rotary drilling, split spoon and Shelby tube sampling.
- Keep accurate boring logs with the ability to describe soil types using the Burmister and/or Unified Classification System.
- Operate other heavy equipment such as backhoe, excavator, skid steer is a plus.
- MUST have CDL - A or
B.

A. DeAngelis, an Engineering Geologist (M.Sc., P.G.) with over 30 years experience in subsurface investigations. With over 50 years experience in test borings, we understand the importance of having knowledge of subsurface conditions for the design of foundations and we take this experience with us to projects in the feasibility, construction and settlement correction phases.
