The Service Technician is skilled in assembly/disassembly and repair of heavy‑duty equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and servicing mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and components of heavy‑duty equipment. The candidate must supply own tools.

• Has prior experience in heavy‑duty construction or heavy equipment machinery
• If lacking in professional experience, has the drive and will to learn on the job
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Proficient in mechanical systems (transmissions, hydraulics, engines, etc.)
• Can work in a dynamic, fast‑paced shop environment
• Associate’s degree in Diesel/Hydraulics (experience may be considered in lieu of formal education)
• Desire to improve and advance in the chosen position
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Demonstrate basic knowledge of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, powertrains and fuel systems and perform repairs under supervision
• Perform basic PM maintenance and parts replacement; remove and install major components with minimal supervision
• Adhere to company safety policies and demonstrate safe and considerate work habits
• Maintain neat and professional appearance and work area
• Possess basic metric and standard mechanical tools
• Accurately follow directions
• Accurately complete all required paperwork for tasks performed
• Have basic computer and typing skills
• Move various types of heavy‑duty equipment to move them in and out of the work area
• Attend and complete factory and regional training schools on specific products as required
• Complete any other duties as assigned

Salary: $20.00 – $55.00 per hour
