We are actively recruiting for a Senior Counsel to join our client's legal team in Oxford, MA. This will be a high visibility role, reporting directly to the GC, and will oversee a small team while managing a wide range of commercial and corporate legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all contracts across the company, including vendor, IT, affinity, M&A, and other commercial agreements.
  • Lead the review, redlining, drafting, and negotiation of high-volume agreements, ensuring compliance and managing risk.
  • Supervise a team of three (senior attorney, paralegal, and administrator), providing mentorship, oversight, and professional development.
  • Collaborate closely with peers in investigations, litigation, and compliance to ensure cohesive legal strategy.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance on corporate governance, transactions, and regulatory issues.
  • Partner with executives and business leaders on strategic initiatives, including new vendor relationships, renewals, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong focus on insurance-related matters, ensuring all parties meet requirements and coverage is appropriately managed.

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in good standing.
  • 8–10 years of corporate/commercial legal experience from a top law firm and/or in-house role.
  • Proven experience leading teams and providing executive-level counsel.
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex contracts; strong background in vendor and transactional matters.
