The NICHOLAS AIR Accounting Department is committed to being accurate and efficient in all tasks. The responsibility of maintaining the finances of the company is not taken lightly. A position in Accounting requires a positive attitude, acute attention to detail, strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask, and the utmost discretion.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily functions of the Accounting Department
• Provide support to the CFO as needed
• Complete required monthly and annual financial reports
• Review and verify payable invoices
• Accounts payable processing through check processing and electronic payments
• Balancing and reconciling bank accounts
• Billing and processing incoming payments
• Assist with processing payroll
• Assist with maintaining payroll documents
• Reconcile monthly credit card statements
• Cover critical department functions in the CFO’s absence

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact with managers in all departments and levels.
• Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive accounting information.
• Must have a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Must have the ability to work well under pressure and deliver within required deadlines.
• Must be punctual.
• Proficiency in Quick Books, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3‑5 years’ experience in Accounting
• Payroll experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS

• Report daily to Oxford, MS Headquarters
• Willing to sign a non‑disclosure agreement
• Must pass background and security checks
• Subject to pre‑employment and random drug testing
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
