Overview

Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center (MSMOC) in Oxford, MS is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon ready to step into a high-demand market and rapidly build a thriving, full-volume practice. You will have the flexibility to take spine only call or a combination of spine and general call, both of which include call pay. This is more than just a job;

Originally established as Oxford Ortho and Sports Medicine in 1996, the practice unified under a single brand identity in a physician-led decision with USOP partner practice Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Provide fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgery care as part of MSMOC and the Ole Miss Athletics team.
  • Participate in formal call schedules with spine-only or spine/general coverage, with associated call pay.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to a high-volume, full-service orthopaedic center.
  • Support a brand-new facility opening in Fall 2025 and leverage advanced surgical capabilities.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Fellowship-trained in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery
  • Eligible for or holding a valid Mississippi medical license
