Addicus is seeking a dynamic and strategic General Counsel to lead our legal operations and serve as our Head of Legal Services. Reporting directly to our President, this executive will be the cornerstone of legal leadership across Addicus and its affiliated entities. We’re looking for someone who thrives in complexity, embraces high‑stakes decision‑making, and brings a proactive mindset to legal strategy, compliance, and operational execution.

The ideal candidate will be energized by shaping legal frameworks that support innovation, investment, and growth across our diverse business units.

• Lead legal operations and serve as Head of Legal Services.
• Oversee fund structuring, due diligence, regulatory governance, estate planning, cybersecurity, and contract management.
• Provide authoritative control over risk assessment and risk‑related decisions.
• Synthesize legal research, stakeholder input, and regulatory trends into actionable insights.
• Develop defensible points of view that guide next steps.

• JD with deep experience in investment management or private equity.
• LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
• Experience in legal strategy, compliance, and operational execution.
• Willing to work hybrid from Oxford, MS, or preference for candidates based in Atlanta, Birmingham, Memphis, or Jackson.
