Description

There is a fully funded PhD doctoral position in the Jing Li group () at the School of Pharmacy in the University of Mississippi.

The Li group is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team. The graduate student will learn and apply molecular dynamics simulation, bioinformatics, and machine learning modeling to investigate the sequence-structure-dynamics-function relationship of ion channels and membrane transporters. Additionally, we aim to explore the molecular mechanisms underlying dysfunctions in these membrane proteins that contribute to various diseases.

The School of Pharmacy at UM is ranked as top 25 among US nationally ranked public pharmacy schools and top 20 in terms of federal research funding. Our PhD program offers a collaborative team-based environment with ample opportunities for education, training, and career development.
