We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Helper to support the Maintenance Team in keeping all production equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who is hands‑on, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Location: Oxford, NC

Pay: Based on experience

• Assist maintenance technicians with troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, conveyors, mixers, baggers, and forklifts.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning motors, replacing belts, and checking fluid levels.
• Help with facility upkeep including minor repairs, painting, organizing supplies, and maintaining safe work areas.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical or mechanical equipment under supervision.
• Support equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments during production runs.
• Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and proper PPE requirements.
• Document completed work and assist with maintaining maintenance logs.
• Respond to maintenance calls on the production floor as directed by the lead or supervisor.
• Assist with inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.

• Prior experience in maintenance, general labor, or mechanical work preferred but not required.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Willingness to learn mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Reliable, team‑oriented attitude with good communication skills.
• Must be able to work in dusty, noisy, and warm environments typical of a production facility.
