The Pastry Baker is responsible for producing all pastries, desserts, and sweet goods during their shifts. Working independently, they ensure the timely and accurate preparation of baked items while maintaining quality standards.
Strong Arm Baking started as a home‑based business 10 years ago and now operates with a 60‑person team of talented individuals. We sell our products out of our shop in downtown Oxford, and to several dozen wholesale partners throughout the triangle. We also deliver ‘Porch Drop’, full meals and prepared breads and pastries to 300+ customers’ homes weekly.
Duties- Bake and prepare pastries for delivery to homes, wholesale partners and for the shop.
- Set up workstations according to bakery‑pastry shop guidelines.
- Prepare and bake recipes accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize standardized prep lists and follow recipes to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
