As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security‑related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will foster a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as required.

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security‑related hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and ensuring only authorized individuals are permitted entry.
• Support Allied Universal and healthcare staff during emergency drills and/or real emergency situations as directed by site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
