As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This driving post involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service to all individuals on site. What You’ll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required by site policies.
- Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies as directed by site procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
- Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and first responders to relay information regarding incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
