Industrial Performance Leader

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for an Industrial Performance Leader to join our team in Oxford, OH. This onsite role is ideal for a dynamic professional passionate about driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across manufacturing processes.

What will you do?
  • Lead the Continuous Improvement strategy across Front-end and Core processes, from tendering to delivery.
  • Animate and drive operational process improvements using Schneider Performance System (SPS) methodologies.
  • Challenge, support, and occasionally lead Kaizen events to foster a culture of lean thinking.
  • Define and execute the annual productivity action plan, ensuring delivery of DLP targets.
  • Report productivity metrics using standardized tools and processes.
  • Sustain and elevate SPS maturity across the plant through cross‑functional engagement and action plans.
  • Develop manufacturing excellence skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Manage Value Stream Mapping and lead initiatives to reduce Product Lead Time.
  • Implement key SPS concepts including green/red architecture lines, Short Interval Management (SIM), and Material Providing & Handling (MPH).

This position reports to Plant Manager.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or any related field is required.
  • Extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing Tools (5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Visual Management, Kaizen, etc.) is required.
  • 4+ years of experience with Production Systems (e.g., Toyota Production System or similar).
  • Proven experience leading cost‑saving projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interact and lead others in a collaborative environment.
  • Extensive experience with Agile Methodologies and Project Management.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem‑solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with change management principles and demonstrated ability to drive and manage the change process. Lead by influence.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) is a requirement.
  • Ability to set overall priorities and form action plans to implement and monitor for results.

Internally, this role will be referred to as Supply Chain Performance Leader.
