Ambition UK is delighted to be supporting a growing Top 40 accountancy practice in their search for an Audit Semi-Senior to join their expanding Audit team based in Oxford

The Role

As an Audit Semi-Senior, you will support the delivery of audit assignments for a broad portfolio of clients. This position offers hybrid working, flexible hours and the option to work full-time or part-time, making it ideal for those seeking a progressive and modern practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the planning, execution and completion of audit engagements
  • Preparing financial statements and supporting working papers
  • Working closely with Audit Seniors and Managers to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Liaising confidently with clients to build strong professional relationships
  • Using leading software such as Xero, Sage, Caseware and CCH (experience beneficial)
About You
  • 1-2 years' UK audit practice experience
  • Strong academic background - degree (2:1+) or A‑Levels (A, B, B or above) preferred
  • Fully fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to delivering excellence
