Accounts Semi Senior

In this role you'll be preparing accounts, tax returns and VAT work for a varied portfolio of clients while continuing to develop your technical skills within a supportive accountancy practice.

We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Oxford that is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior as part of its continued expansion.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their career within a firm that genuinely invests in its people. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Completing VAT returns and management accounts
• Assisting with bookkeeping using cloud accounting software
• Liaising directly with clients and responding to day-to-day accounting queries
• Supporting senior team members on a variety of accounting and advisory projects
• Building strong client relationships while developing your technical knowledge

We're keen to hear from candidates with previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice, ideally around 1-3 years. AAT qualified candidates, ACA/ACCA students, or those qualified by experience will all be considered.
