The Finance and Tax teams play a critical role in supporting safe, sustainable growth and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality healthcare services. What you're be involved in, but not limited to:
Supporting VAT returns and Corporation Tax submissions Preparing accurate, audit-ready working papers and reconciliations Assisting with contract and bid reviews to identify tax risks Supporting new entity setups and tax registrations Liaising with external advisers and internal stakeholders Supporting ERP and P2P processes to ensure tax accuracy Assisting with governance and controls, including SAO and CCO Maintaining trackers, deadlines, and organised documentation Contributing to projects and process improvements Your Trainee path:
This role is designed to build strong foundations in tax and develop your career over time. You will:
Build confidence supporting VAT and Corporation Tax compliance Learn how tax interacts with systems, data, and wider business operations Develop the judgement to identify and escalate issues appropriately Gain exposure to commercial decision-making and project work Take on increasing responsibility as your experience grows As you progress, you'll have the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise or explore broader finance or commercial career paths.
