Interim Group Reporting Accountant 6-Month Contract | Hybrid Working (only 2 Days On Site) | £350 per day

* Gleeson Recruitment Group is partnering with a well-known corporate brand to recruit an Interim Group Reporting Accountant for a 6-month contract based in Oxfordshire. Reporting directly to a highly experienced and collaborative line manager, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality external reporting, statutory accounts, tax compliance, financial control, and group reporting activities across a complex, multi-entity business.
The Role Working closely with senior stakeholders including Financial Control team and CFO function, you will be responsible for a broad range of financial reporting and accounting activities, including:
Supporting the preparation of external and group financial reporting Assisting with month-end and year-end financial accounting processes Preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts Supporting the production of statutory accounts Assisting with VAT and Corporation Tax returns Main POC for Big 4 Auditors Coordinating and supporting statutory audit requirements Supporting the consolidation of overseas entities Driving improvements in financial controls and reporting processes Working collaboratively with senior finance stakeholders across the business You will be / have: ACA / ACCA qualified ideally
Experience with in financial accounting, financial reporting / group reporting A background gained either in practice or within a large multi-site organisation Strong technical accounting knowledge Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Strong communication and organisational skills At Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
