Senior Accountant​/Client Manager

£38,000–£50,000 per year

Manage a portfolio of clients, oversee their accounts and tax work, and be their first point of contact for day-to-day advice.

We’re recruiting for a Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join our client’s practice in Oxford. This could suit an experienced Accounts Senior looking for more responsibility or a Client Manager ready for a fresh opportunity.

Your work will include:

• Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Overseeing corporation tax computations and returns.
• Managing deadlines and keeping clients informed.
• Answering accounts and tax queries, explaining the numbers clearly.
• Supporting junior colleagues and reviewing their work.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional advice and support.

You’ll have experience within an accountancy practice, a strong grounding in accounts preparation and the confidence to build relationships with clients.

ACA or ACCA qualification would be welcome, although candidates qualified by experience are also encouraged to apply.
