About Us

Oxford HMO Company is a growing, specialist HMO lettings and management business focused on providing high-quality shared housing for students and young professionals across Oxford. As a close-knit, family-run team, we value professionalism, reliability, and a supportive working environment where everyone contributes to delivering excellent service to both tenants and landlords.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Part-Time Property & Lettings Assistant to support the day-to-day management of our HMO portfolio. This is a varied, hands‑on position combining property operations, tenant communication, viewings, and administrative support.

We provide structured onboarding, guidance, and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role while still offering flexibility and autonomy in how you manage your tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the daily management of HMO properties across Oxford, including inspections, viewings, move‑ins, and general tenant support
  • Book and conduct property viewings, respond to enquiries, and follow up with applicants
  • Coordinate maintenance issues with tenants, contractors, and the internal team
  • Support inventories, check‑ins, and check‑outs using company systems
  • Keep property records, notes, and compliance information updated
  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants and represent the company professionally
  • Assist with general administration, scheduling, and communication tasks
What We’re Looking For
  • Someone organized, approachable, and comfortable working with people
  • Confident managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload
  • A team‑player who values communication and accountability
  • Previous property, lettings, HMO, or customer‑facing experience is desirable but not essential
Requirements
  • Must live in or near Oxford
  • Full UK driving license
Working Style & Support

This is a flexible part‑time role with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Working days and times can be agreed around operational needs and your availability. You will receive a full onboarding process, guidance, and ongoing support from the team — we believe in setting people up for success rather than expecting them to work without direction.

What You’ll Get
  • Flexible part‑time hours within a supportive, family‑run environment
  • Structured onboarding and training
  • Opportunity to grow as the company expands
