Role details:

To provide administrative support to either the District Nursing, Community Therapy Service teams or specialist services or a combination of these services as appropriate to the service delivery.

Duties to include but not limited to:

* Assist the service/team in all administration duties relating to the day to day running of the team/service, for example, managing correspondence organising files/Records, scheduling and Logistics, and office coordination.

* Provide a high standard of administration support to the team/service.

* Assist in the provision of high standards of data collection ensuring paper and electronic information is updated in a timely manner.

* Organise own workload and act independently within appropriate guidelines.

* To provide a polite and efficient reception service to visitors if required.

* Order, check, maintain and distribute equipment and supplies for the team and other agencies as required (this will include manual handling of stock and equipment, and training will be provided).

* Filing and photocopying and distributing and redirecting mail.

* Accurately type and distribute correspondence, minutes, and other documents.

* Perform general office duties including responding to email and phone enquiries. answering the telephone, taking, and recording messages accurately, responding to queries appropriately, following Trust procedures and protocols and organise the maintenance of the filing systems for the service/team.

* To take accurate action notes and minutes as required.

* Arranging meetings and maintaining diaries.

* To code and forward invoices for payment as appropriate to the service area

* Collate staff records regarding training, annual leave, and sickness, including Eroster

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

 1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

 2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

 3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

* Competent with Microsoft office programmes, particularly Excel

* Excellent IT skills

* NHS experience (desirable)

* Email inbox management skills

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
