Join us as an Assistant Property Manager and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of our specialist housing portfolio. Working alongside an experienced Property Manager, you'll help keep our properties running smoothly while providing excellent support to residents, partners and contractors.
This is a varied role where you'll balance administration with customer interaction, building relationships and supporting the smooth running of our specialist housing services. You may also provide occasional reception cover, so you'll need to be adaptable and approachable to support wherever needed. Housing experience is welcome but not essential. The role is primarily based at Wavy Gate Student Accommodation, Oxford, OX4 1LG
, with some travel to our Sinnet Court office (approximately a 10-minute walk away).
- Support the day-to-day management of the specialist housing portfolio alongside the Property Manager.
- Maintain accurate records and coordinate repairs with residents, partners and contractors.
- Respond to customer enquiries and assist with tenancy administration.
- Balance administration with customer interaction and build strong working relationships.
- Provide occasional reception cover and assist where needed to support the team.
- Travel to the Sinnet Court office as required (approximately a 10-minute walk from the primary location).
- Experience in an administrative, customer service or housing-related role is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating by email, phone and in person.
- A proactive, adaptable approach and willingness to support different areas of the team, including reception duties.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, residents and external partners.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grades A-C).
- An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
- 25 days' holiday (plus Bank Holidays), increasing up to 28 days with 3 years of service.
