The Role:
· Provide day-to-day administration for a portfolio of group and workplace pension schemes.
· Process new scheme applications and assist with the implementation of new employer pension arrangement.
· Investigate discrepancies between payroll records, contribution schedules and payments received by pension providers.
· Act as a key point of contact for employers, payroll teams and pension providers.
· Explain the administrative operation of salary sacrifice arrangements without providing regulated financial, tax or legal advice.
· Assist employers with ongoing administration of their workplace pension duties.
· Provide administrative guidance on scheme processes while referring technical, regulatory or legal matters to the appropriate specialist.
· Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a helpful, professional and timely manner.
· Record all material communications and actions on the appropriate internal system.
· Comply with UK GDPR, data protection requirements and the company’s information security policies.
· Identify and report errors, complaints, potential breaches, data incidents and operational risks promptly.
· Work collaboratively with advisers, paraplanners, administrators and other departments.
· Contributes to improvements in systems, procedures, and client service.
Skills & Requirements:
· Previous experience in a pension administration, employee benefits, payroll or similar financial services role.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Ability to interpret payroll and pension contribution information.
· Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
· CII Certificate in Financial Administration (CF1) or equivalent held, or willingness to work towards this and further relevant regulatory qualifications.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
