37.5 hours 8am - 4pm / 9am - 5pm - 3 days across Monday - Friday and Saturdays and Sundays 3 /4 weekends (Saturdays & Sundays paid at an enhanced rate)

Duties required
- Act as a first point of contact on reception to patients coming into the department.
- Check patients in to their appointments and help them by answering any queries that they might have.
- Work closely with the wider administrative team and clinical staff to ensure patients are admitted within local and national access targets, expediting appointments and procedures as required.
- Assist the Outpatient bookings team with processing new referrals via the GP e-Referral system (ERS)
- Registering patients
- Making outpatient appointments and ensuring patient details are correct.
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
- Ability to plan and organise work to meet deadlines.
- Strong Computer Skills
- Organised and have the ability to coordinate and prioritise own workload
- Excellent communication skills
- NHS experience (desirable)
