Master Technician
Salary: £50,000 Basic | £59,000+ OTE
Hours:
Full-time, 45 hours per week (including weekends on a rota)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Master Technician to join a well-established and progressive automotive group. This is a key position within the workshop, suited to a highly skilled technician capable of handling the most complex diagnostic and technical challenges.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high workshop standards while supporting and mentoring other technicians, all within a modern, well-equipped environment offering ongoing training and career progression.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out advanced diagnostics, servicing, and complex repair work
- Complete mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs to a high standard
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with manufacturer and safety standards
- Diagnose and resolve complex faults across a wide range of vehicle systems
- Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians
- Maintain efficiency and productivity within the workshop
- Fully qualified Master Technician (Level 3 IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Strong experience in both diagnostics and general servicing/repair work
- Excellent knowledge of modern vehicle systems, including electrical diagnostics
- Ability to work independently and lead by example
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
