Benefits:
Competitive basic salary of £39,000 – £45,000, dependent on experience and accreditation

Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday either 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm, with an hour lunch; 1 in 3/4 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm, paid as overtime
Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
Leading diagnostics and fault-finding across a diverse range of vehicles
Conducting high-level repairs and technical work to manufacturer standards
Collaborating with the Workshop Controller to maintain workshop efficiency and productivity
Completing accurate and thorough job cards and reports
Supporting quality control and upholding workshop standards as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
Performing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work opportunities
Mentoring junior team members where appropriate
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the service department
Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Proven experience as a Diagnostic or Master Vehicle Technician, with exposure to complex diagnostics and servicing
Strong electrical and mechanical system knowledge
Hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to share technical knowledge
Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, franchise-approved environment
Motivation to meet and exceed team targets
An active MOT Tester licence would be advantageous but is not essential
