Service Advisor

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership located in Oxford, Oxfordshire, is seeking a professional Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade individual or a customer service professional eager to progress into the automotive aftersales sector.

Greet customers in the Service Department and book vehicles in for repairs and servicing
Liaise with the workshop to monitor work progress and update customers accordingly
Upsell additional products and services to maximise customer satisfaction and dealership targets
Advise customers on minor technical issues and explain work carried out in a clear, professional manner
Take payments for completed work
Maintain high levels of customer service and build lasting relationships
Achieve individual and team sales objectives

Requirements of the Service Advisor:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor is advantageous but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and IT skills; experience with Kerridge DMS or Onelink systems is beneficial
A full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points
Customer-focused attitude with the ability to deliver exceptional service
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Willingness to learn and undertake training as provided
