Head of Sales

InTank Technologies Ltd are one of the UK’s leading suppliers to the Hygienic Process Industry. Specialising in providing the latest in Tank Cleaning Equipment, Energy saving Agitators, ISO-Mix Rotary Jet Mixers, Magnetic Mixers, Pumps and Valves to the Hygienic Process Industry.

About InTank Technologies

InTank Technologies are a specialist engineering consultancy supplying process technology solutions to the Distillery, Beverage, Dairy, Pharmaceutical, Food and Brewery sectors across the UK.

Based in Thame, Oxfordshire, we provide sustainable solutions in tank cleaning, mixing systems, pumps and valves. As an established and growing business, we are looking for an ambitious Head of Sales to lead and develop our commercial activities.

The Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for managing and developing the company’s sales function.

Working from our Thame office, you will support a small team of Technical Sales Engineers, drive business growth, strengthen customer relationships and help shape the company’s commercial strategy.

This role suits a commercially driven individual with strong technical understanding, leadership experience and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the company's sales activities
  • Develop and implement growth strategies
  • Grow existing customer accounts and secure new business
  • Support, mentor and monitor the sales team
  • Manage and maintain CRM activity through Hub Spot
  • Lead weekly sales meetings and performance reviews
  • Conduct customer visits across the UK
  • Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns and lead generation initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a sales environment
  • Previous experience managing a sales team
  • Engineering qualification (minimum HNC or equivalent)
  • Proven track record in business development and sales growth
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Able to commute daily to Thame, Oxfordshire
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Motivated, ambitious and commercially minded

Desirable

  • Experience using Hub Spot.
  • Knowledge of Tank Cleaning Systems, Agitators, Pumps or Valves.
  • Experience with in Food, Beverage, Brewing, Dairy, Distillery or Pharmaceutical industries.
  • Located within reasonable commuting distance of Thame.
  • Support overall business growth objectives.
