About the Role
Join Oxford University Press as a Senior Compliance Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering and evolving our Global Compliance Programme across a truly international organisation. Working closely with the Group Compliance Officer, you will help ensure that key compliance risks, including bribery and corruption, fraud, the facilitation of tax evasion, and sanctions, are effectively identified, managed, and mitigated. - Partner with senior stakeholders across divisions and group functions to embed compliance policies and processes, drive engagement with training and awareness initiatives, and support a strong culture of accountability.
- Manage compliance professionals based in the UK and/or overseas.
- Oversee risk assessments and due diligence activities relating to third parties and high-risk business activities, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place and remain effective.
- Contribute to compliance reporting, monitoring and assurance activities, helping to provide clear insight into programme effectiveness and emerging risk areas.
The successful candidate will be an experienced compliance professional with excellent stakeholder management skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. You will be comfortable managing people, advising colleagues at all levels, balancing regulatory requirements with business needs, and communicating complex issues in a clear and engaging way.
Working arrangementsWe operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
