Digital Asset Management Service Manager

Osney One Building, Osney Mead, Oxford, OX2 0EW
, with hybrid working

THIS POST COULD BE CONSIDERED AS A SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY.

About the Role

You will join the Bodleian Libraries at an exciting time as we implement a new Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to support our growing digital collections.

You will lead the development of a sustainable, user-focused DAM service, helping to improve how our digital collections are managed, preserved, discovered and reused. Working with teams across the Bodleian, you will shape workflows, standards and governance, support the implementation of the new system, drive organisational adoption and develop a roadmap for continuous improvement.

This is a full-time, fixed-term post for 2 years, working 37.5 hours per week.

Hybrid working is available, typically requiring no more than 2-3 days per week in the office.

About You

You will have a degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience, alongside proven experience of running a DAM system.

You will understand digital collection management, preservation, metadata and data standards, and have experience delivering digital transformation.

You will be an excellent communicator, confident working across teams, managing change and helping colleagues adopt new systems and workflows.
