Organizational Design lead

On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Organizational Design Lead Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based Hybrid 2 days a week in Swindon and occasional travel to Cambridge and Nottingham UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is the national funding agency investing in science and research in the UK. UKRI invests £8 billion of taxpayers' money each year into research and innovation and the people who make it happen.

As a Organizational Design Lead , your main responsibilities will be to:
* Lead the analysis and design of organisational capabilities, processes, interfaces and ways of working required to support the future NERC operating model, as part of the NERC Transformation Programme.
* Work across NERC to develop the business architecture that underpins organisational design decisions, ensuring that structures, roles, accountabilities and operating practices are aligned to strategic objectives and organisational requirements.
* Provide the evidence base, analysis and design expertise required to support organisational redesign, workforce transition planning and implementation
* Analyse current organisational structures, operating practices and service delivery arrangements and develop future-state operating model and organisational design artefacts Essential:
* Strong organisational design and operating model experience, ideally across large, complex organisations.
* Experience bringing together end-to-end processes, ways of working, roles, responsibilities and governance frameworks into a clear operating model.
* Strong understanding of how an operating model works in practice, including how different teams/functions interface and work together effectively.
* Experience implementing and embedding new operating models, with data and technology used as enablers rather than being the main focus of the transformation.
