Thisisanexcellentopportunityfora Charteredorexperienced Building Surveyorwhohascompletedtheir APC(orisoperatingatanequivalentlevel) andislookingtotakethenextstepintheircareerwithinahands-on,supportiveandprogressiveenvironment.
You’llbejoiningabusy,collaborative team,workingcloselywith
Directorsand
Associates,withgenuinescopeforcareerprogressionandclientexposurefromdayone.
Thesuccessfulcandidatewillberesponsiblefordeliveringamixofprojectandprofessionalservices,including:
- Runningsmallercapitalprojectsfrominceptiontocompletion(£50k–£750k),reportingdirectlytoclientsanddevelopingstrongclientrelationships
- Supporting Directorsand Associatesonlargerprojects (£750k+)
- Liaisingwithinternalandexternalprojectteams
- Preparingandsubmittingstatutoryapplications
- Producingspecificationsandworkingcloselywiththearchitecturalteam,supportedbyastrongunderstandingofconstructiontypes
- Undertakingbuildinginspections,dilapidationsreportsandnegotiations
- Preparingandservingnoticesandawardsunderthe Party Walletc .Act
1996 - Managingexistingclientrelationshipsandidentifyingnewinstructionswherepossible
- Demonstratingasolidunderstandingof
JCTcontracts,particularly
Design&Build,andexperienceinCAandEAroles
- MRICSqualifiedorabletodemonstrateequivalentexperienceinasimilarrole
- Personable,professionalandclient-focused
- Ambitious,energeticandmotivated,withtheabilitytoworkunderpressure
- Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills
- WorkingknowledgeofMSOfficeessential
- Basicknowledgeof
AutoCAD/RevitandMSProjectwouldbeadvantageous
- Mondayto Friday,9:30am–5:30pm
- Hybrid working(non-contractual):currentlythreedaysintheofficeanduptotwodaysworkingfromhome
