Electrical Project Manager

Overview

Electrical Project Manager – Oxford. Up to £75,000 basic + company van/car allowance + progression + excellent benefits.

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to take ownership of exciting commercial and industrial projects from tender through to completion? We are working with a well-established and growing electrical contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and industrial sectors. The role offers clear career progression and the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of new-build, refurbishment and small works projects.

• Manage multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects simultaneously
• Prepare competitive tenders and quotations for projects ranging from small works to £1m+
• Lead projects through every stage, from pre-construction to handover
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Procure materials and specialist services
• Carry out regular site visits to ensure quality, safety and programme adherence
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
• Prepare project documentation including progress reports, technical submittals, RFIs and project close-out information
• Support the pre-construction team with surveys, meetings and tender activities

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial or industrial projects
• Time-served Electrician with strong technical knowledge
• Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
• Good commercial awareness with strong budgeting and programme management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Full UK Driving Licence

• Estimating experience
• NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor/Manager status
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing

• Basic salary up to £75,000, depending on experience
