Site Manager

Location: Oxfordshire

I'm seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a progressive, forward thinking organisation. The business undertakes projects in various sectors, including Commercial, Leisure, Residential and Industrial.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects to ensure their safe completion, in accordance with programme, specification and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the highest standards of safety

• Contributing to the value engineering and build-ability of the project

• Agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planners and other appropriate personnel

• Marshalling of resources for the overall control and execution of the works, including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works

• Ensuring that key dates, resource requirements, production rates, overhead targets etc. are established, monitored and controlled

• Managing multi disciplinary teams

• Cost Control

• Establishing and maintaining commercial and financial control systems, procedures and standards which will meet the contractual requirements of the projects

Experience and Qualifications:

• You will ideally have experience of working on new build industrial units

• A proven track record of success in the delivery of projects

• Good communication verbally and in written form.

• Hold current CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and first aid certification

• Present a clean and tidy site and have a good understanding of the considerate contractor's requirements
